Big Church Day Out is set

May 28 and 29 next year will definitely be days to remember as The Big Church Day Out is set to happen in Wiston House in West Sussex.

The Big Church Day Out is an annual event that gathers the churches across the United Kingdom for a day of music, worship, prayer, fun and just being together.

It started in 2009 and aims to provide an environment for Christians to celebrate together. It hopes that many people would be encouraged and inspired to continue to press in for all that God has called them to, in both their local and wider areas.

Twenty-one artists are set to perform.

Saturday will be a United Christian Broadcasters (UCB) stage with the top British Christian artists with Chip Kendall (thebandwithnoname), BeBe Vox, Dweeb and Mobo, Jahaziel, Philippa Hanna, Stuart Pendred and the The Kings Chamber Orchestra.

The Gentleman, LZ7, Guvna B, Tom & Olly, Monique Lawson and Trent will appear on the UCB stage on Sunday.

Tea Tent hosts will be Graham Kendrick, Jonathan Veira, Lou Fellingham and the Kings Chamber Orchestra.

Entrance to the event will be free if there are 41 or more persons in a group. Tickets will be available on November 8 in time for the launching for the The Big Church Day Out’s new website.

With a sellout crowd The Big Church Day Out subsidized ticket prices cover about two thirds of the cost of the event. The other costs are covered through the generous support of sponsors, and any donations to the charity are thankfully received. To support its vision, contact info@bigchurchdayout.com.

The Big Church Day Out is run by a team that is headed up by Tim Jupp, one of the founding members of Delirious, in partnership with the Wiston Estate. It is supported by both many local churches and national organizations that together have a heart for serving the church.
